Orthodontic Implants
What are Orthodontic implants for?
This are used when there is a need to move a misplaced tooth that is not cooperating with conventional mechanics from braces or to traction a segment of teeth.
Clear Aligners
Are they an option for me?
Orthodontic patients can go from very easy cases to complex ones. Clear aligners a good option for patients that do not requier greater mecanical traction.
Orthopedic Appliance
In what kind of cases are they needed?
Typically used in patients that are in a growing stage when there is a Maxillary and/or mandibular deficiency.
Orthodontic Traction & Surgery of unerupted tooth
How is this diagnosed?
At the beginning of the orthodontic process there is a diagnoses in which require a panoromic xray. In this xray we will see if there is any teeth retained. In this cases there will be a ct scan performed in order to see if it can be pulled to it's place.
Retainers
Are retainers always needed after braces?
Yes, up to a year or more after orthodontic treatment this retainers must be used. The most popular kind are clear retainer and metal + acrylc retainers.
